This page explains how users of Nexen Tech apps can request deletion of their account and associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
We make it easy for you to delete your account if you no longer wish to use our services. You can request account deletion by following these steps:
Option 1: By Email
- Send an email to: support@nexentech.co
- Subject: Delete My Account
- Include: Your full name and the phone number or email linked to your Nexen account
Option 2: From Our Website
- Visit: https://nexentech.co/contact
- Choose “Account Deletion” as your inquiry type and fill out the form
What Data Will Be Deleted
Once we confirm your identity, we will permanently delete the following data within 7 business days:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Account credentials and settings
- Budget and milestone tracking data
- SACCO or MSME membership data
- Transaction and credit activity
- Messages and in-app communications
What Data May Be Retained (Temporarily)
In accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., financial and regulatory compliance), we may retain:
- Transaction records, credit logs, and system audit trails
- Reports submitted to regulators such as AMFIU, UMRA, or CRB
This retained data is stored securely and only for the minimum duration required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records). It is never used for marketing or profiling.
